Does it need cleaned? National Fire Code 211 requires an annual safety inspection of all chimney systems. Here's why: In a wood burning system, incomplete combustion results in unburned residue which rises in the chimney as part of the smoke. This residue is deposited on the inside of the chimney walls, presenting a major fire hazard.
Gas and oil flues should also be checked on an annual basis for any soot deposits or debris blockage which could lead to dangerous carbon monoxide poisoning. A chimney professional can clean the inside of your chimney to eliminate theese dangers.

*DRYER VENT CLEANING:
Having your dryer vent system cleaned and inspected yearly by a dryer              vent cleaning professional can help prevent fires and save you money in            decreased energy costs. There were 15,500 dryer vent fires last                            year.[according to the Consumer Products Safety Commission] and the               number continues to rise. Why? Because most people don't know their               dryer vents need to be cleaned. They clean out the lint filter and think               that's it. In reality, the dryer vent duct is where lint really can build up and       get clogged. Lint is highly flammable. It accounts for most dryer vent fires.

RAINCAPS: -( Price includes installation)
Black Galvanized - $105.00 (3yr warranty against rust)
Stainless Steel - $135.00 (lifetime warranty against rust)
Copper - $220.00 (lifetime warranty)
**these prices are for standard size
Rain can damage metal fireboxes and dampers. It can also erode mortar              joints, causing the chimney to weaken. For rain protection, a top-quality            chimney cap is the solution. A stainless steel and copper model gives                  lifetime protection from moisture damage.(Prices may be slightly higher              depending on roof access)

CHASE COVER REPAIR & REPLACEMENT: FREE ESTIMATE
All chase covers are custome made. They protect your prefab chimney f               from any damage by the weather. The stainless steel comes with a lifetime          warranty against rust.

CROWN REPAIR -  FREE ESTIMATE
Deteriorated crowns cause chimney damage. A crown is a masonry roof              that covers the top of the chimney. Its purpose is to prevent water from                 seeping through the chimney. When the crown fails, the entire chimney             system is susceptible to damage. Which will cause costly repairs or                      eventually result in chimney needing to be rebuilt.

DAMPERS -FREE ESTIMATE
It can save you $200.00 a year in lost energy. Your leaky throat damper costs you hundreds of dollars a year in lost energy. Just like if you left a window open year round. It seals tight, so virtually no air, and no heat or air conditioning gets lost up your chimney. It also eliminates downdrafts, seals out rain which can deteriorate the inside of your chimney, and prevent pests from entering your chimney. It mounts on top of your chimney to create a airtight seal. The cable drops down your flue and attaches to a handle which mounts where you can easliy reach it for convenient opening and closing. They have a life time warranty!

WATERSEAL - FREE ESTIMATE
Does it need waterproofing? Waterproofing is the best preventive  maintenance you can give the exterior of your chimney or bricks against premature aging and expensive repairs. Contrary to popular belief, bricks and mortar are not naturally "waterproof". A driving wind will move water through even healthy bricks and mortar. Moisture is a common starting place for masonry deterioration and can cause more costly chimney problems. The best way to keep new masonry at its best is to use an appropriate waterproofing material.

MASONRY REPAIR - FREE ESTIMATE
We offers a wide range of masonry services including: chimney rebuilding, bricklaying, tuckpointing, crown repair, firebox repair, smoke chamber renovation with Chamber Tech, and flashing repairs. Loose bricks and deterioration can be symptomatic of a major problem. Minor repairs done early will save huge repair bills  later.

*TUCKPOINTING - FREE ESTIMATE
This process includes grinding out all missing or weakened joints and filling them with "Propoint", a specialized tuckpointing material. We will attempt to match both the color and the shape of the existing joints, but we cannot guarantee an exact match. Tuckpointing carries a one year warranty against deterioration in the areas worked on, if waterproofed shortly after the repairs are done. We highly recommend having us waterproof with CHIMSAVER at least the areas worked on after the repairs are done. Leaking chimney's are a problem to diagnose and are no guarantee on problem being fixed,we will try to identify and correct problem.

*FIREBOX REPAIRS - FREE ESTIMATE
If you have loose or damaged bricks in the back or sides of your firebox, we will remove and replace them with new bricks, using      refractory bricks and mortar. We will also grind out remaining       deteriorated joints and tuckpoint them with refractory mortar.

*SMOKE CHAMBER RESTORATION - FREE ESTIMATE
We will remove existing creosote and loose masonry from the smoke chamber (area just above damper) and coat the walls of the chamber with approximately 1 inch of a fireproof, insulating masonry material called "CHAMBER TECH". This protective coating will fill voids between bricks, fill cracks and holes within bricks, insulate the chamber for heating efficiency and safety, leave a smooth surface for more efficient flow of smoke and gasses, and provide increased structural strength for the entire chimney structure. The warranty for this process is 5 YEARS, guaranteeing that the coating will stay intact and solidly in place.

FIREPLACE RELINING- FREE ESTIMATE
  Analysis for your home safety
- Staining form leaking condensation
The condensation in your chimney is seeping through to the interior of  your home, or your chimney evterior, and creating costly damage
- Disintegrating chimney structure
Acidic moisture goes through freeze and thaw periods with expansion and contraction creating cracks in your mortar and flue tiles
     - Poor draft
You have an improper flue size matched to your heating appliance
- Tight Clearance
You have inadequate clearance to the wood framing of your home
- Damaged chimney structure
Will allow carbon monoxide, smoke, and fire to enter your home
- Down-drafting & smoke
If you have an damaged flue you can expect an unsteady draft leading                to a down-ward flow bringing smoke into your home

The flue liner is often the most neglected part of your chimney. Tradional masonry flue tiles cannot handle the acidic moisture created by your furnace, boiler, or hot water tank. This acid attacks and breaks down flue tiles and the mortar in between them.
OIL HEATING APPLIANCES
- When mixed with acidic condensation, soot buildup from your oil furnace and hot water tank on the walls of the chimney create sulfuric acid, which will deteriorate the clay flue tiles.
GAS HEATING APPLIANCES
- Greater amounts of condenstation produced by the high efficiency of the newer heating appliances, combined with many installations in old oil firnace flues, spped up deterioration.
FIREPLACES & WOOD STOVES
- Creosote formation is the unavoidable by product from burning wood. Most wood stoves are manufactured to vent into an area much smaller than that of your chimney flue. THe oversized flue causes a reduced rate of smoke exiting the flue, leaving it to linger and deposit creosote on your tiles. The danger with creosote is the 450* F ignition point---consider the average wood stove produces gases leaving your fireplace at 300* F to 900* F---causing a chimney fire of up to 2100*F. If your chimney flue has no tiles, it is likely that these gases and creosote are leaking directly into your home, leading to a possible fire or creating carbon monoxide poisoning.

The National Fire Protection Agency states: "If the flue liner has softened, cracked, or otherwise deteriorated so that it no longer has the continued ability to contain the products of combustion, it shall be either removed and replaced, repaired, or relined with a listed liner system..." (NFPA 211, Sect. 10-9)  The purpose of a chimney liner is to contain the byproducts of combustion (heat, moisture, creosote, carbon monoxide, and other dangerous elements) until they are discharged from your chimney. Woodstove insert need to contain a chimney liner in order to pass NFPA211 guidelines. We use the M-Flex CB 316L. The M-Flex liner alloys are designed specifically to resist acids and extreme temperature stress during hot and cold cycles. It's manufactured with a 7-ply, crimped seam that leaves the product with an extremely strong finish and unequaled flexibility. The M-Flex liner is air and water tight, locking in moisture and hazardous gases.
